moving...

We're moving to a new place in South Pasadena that I'm really excited about. It has wood floors and a bedroom and air conditioning, none of which we had in our old place. Hooray! Moving sucks though. My blogging will be even less than usual for a little while. But I'll be back very soon with pictures of our new setup and some new cards that I've been working on! See you in a few days!

Speaking of patterns, I really like the pattern on this notebook I bought. I think there will be some pattern creations in Small Adventure's future.

I whitened these bones with hydrogen peroxide after roasting a chicken and making a chicken soup with the leftovers. It sounds kind of gross I suppose, but I'm actually quite proud of using as much of the animal as possible. It was my first whole roasted chicken! And now I get to put these small bones on a shelf with some pine cones and little ceramic vessels.
